German Exchange Program

St. Paul's School is honored to participate in the German American Partnership Program (GAPP), a renowned non-profit organization established in 1972 and sponsored by the German Federal Foreign Office and the U.S. Department of State.

Each September, St. Paul's School warmly welcomes approximately 15 students from Dr.-Auguste-Kirchner Realschule in Germany. These students stay with host families and attend St. Paul's for two weeks. In return, our 8th graders travel to Germany, staying with host families and attending the German school for a similar two-week period.

The exchange is coordinated by Lea Maryanow at St. Paul's School and Julia Schneider at Dr.-Auguste-Kirchner Realschule, both adhering to the GAPP teacher guide to ensure a smooth and enriching experience for all participants.
